Awards

Our staff awards provide an opportunity to recognise colleagues who have demonstrated the qualities that underpin our Faculty’s continued success across education and research. Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner and will be presented their award by the Faculty's Acting Executive Dean, Professor Robyn Ward, and our Gold Logie Keynote Samuel Johnson.

Please note self-nomination is accepted.

Collaborators of the year award

Professional & Academic staff  - formal or informal teams (Must include academic and/or professional staff from the faculty + can include others external to faculty or UQ)

A team who have embraced and can demonstrate:

  1. examples of collaboration with internal and or external stakeholders
  2. that have resulted in significant tangible improvements, change and success within the Faculty
  3. which align with Faculty objectives, characteristics & principles
  4. demonstrate impact.

Innovators of the year award

Professional & Academic  formal or informal teams (Must include academic and/or professional staff from the faculty + can include others external to faculty or UQ)

A team who have embraced and can demonstrate:

  1. examples of innovation
  2. that have resulted in significant tangible improvements, change and success within the Faculty
  3. which align with Faculty objectives, characteristics & principles
  4. demonstrate impact.

Service Excellence Award

Professional Staff – self nomination of formal or informal teams

A team that has made and can demonstrate:

  1. an outstanding and significant contribution to delivering excellence in service to students, staff and/or the wider community
  2. the benefits of the contribution are tangible
  3. which align with Faculty objectives, characteristics & principles.
