SmartVax is an active surveillance system that monitors adverse events following immunisation, with >450 participating general practices and immunisation clinics across Australia. Through existing collaborations between SmartVax and the research team at CRESTMA (Clinical Research and Evidence Synthesis at Travel Medicinc Alliance), a range of research projects can be developed to investigate safety and tolerability of travel vaccines (e.g. Yellow Fever).
