Winter Research Projects
The UQ Winter Research Program is now open. Applications close 3 April 2017.
All selected Winter Research scholars will receive a Winter Research Scholarship. Winter Research Scholarships are valued at $1000 and will be awarded based on academic merit, motivation for participating in the program, and the enrolling unit’s nomination. To be eligible for the grant, scholars will need to meet the following conditions:
- Participate in the program between 13 June – 22July
- Participate in program for 4 or more weeks
- Work a minimum of 20 hours per week
Please refer to the full eligibility and scholarship details in the UQ Winter Research Guidelines and the specific requirements of each project. Please note that these guidelines are subject to change.

Important: These projects are located at multiple sites at St Lucia and Herston campuses and hospitals in Brisbane, Ipswich, and a number of rural and remote area facilities throughout the rest of the state.

Applications for the 2017 UQ Winter Research Program will close at 11:59pm 3 April 2017.
