Medical Leadership Program Information Evening
We would like to invite current medical students and junior doctors to the upcoming MLP Information Evening. Hear from current MLP students and alumni on the benefits of the program and how it has positively impacted and influenced their MD studies and career.

Date: Wednesday 23 August, 2017
Time: 5:45pm for a 6:00pm start through to 8:00pm. Presentations will be followed by light refreshments in the Mayne Medical Boardroom.
Location: ES Meyers Lecture Theatre, Mayne Medical Building, Herston
The session will be streamed and recorded, should you not be able to attend in person - please indicate in the registration form.
The MLP focuses on building high-level leadership skills, including service strategy and communication, negotiation and strategic thinking. To ensure that learning outcomes are industry-focused, the program incorporates case studies and action learning techniques, specific to the clinical setting. The program is offered in 4 x 1 week long intensive modules throughout the year, with students having up to three years to complete.

About Medical Leadership Program Information Evening
The Faculty of Medicine and the UQ Business School Executive Education are pleased to have partnered to offer UQ medical students and resident doctors a profession specific program for developing the medical leaders of tomorrow. The Graduate Certificate in Business Leadership, as part of the UQ Medical Leadership Program (MLP), is designed to develop leadership and management skills in the medical context.
