“Apoplexy Now” – PAH Stroke Update 2020

Dr Philip Aitken established the Stroke Unit at PAH in October 1997 with his colleagues Graham Hall, Jon Chalk, Chris Staples, and is a  Senior Geriatrician and Stroke Physician at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. 

He has continued involvement with hyper acute stroke unit patient management as well as the geriatric unit patient case load with a predominance of stroke rehabilitation patients. 

In addition, he is Consultant Geriatrician for the Falls Clinic PAH. 

He has ongoing interest in stroke management and is a regular attendee at local, national and international stroke conferences.
