Keynote

Dr Ken Dutton-Regester, Founder and Director, Excite Media  Networking in a Post-Pandemic World: Strategies to Influence your Career Success

The world’s changed…. so should your networking strategy.

We’re not sure if or how long it will last, but the pandemic has changed our views on the way academics have historically done networking: the face-to-face scientific conference. From the impacts to health and the environment, to the costs and time required to attend them, scientists have fundamentally changed their behaviour and attitudes toward conferencing. So with this in mind, how do you approach networking in a post-pandemic world?

Beyond discussing the importance of networking to career success, this keynote will dive into the latest trends and approaches for increasing your visibility, establishing new collaborations and becoming known as an expert in your chosen field.
