Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students will give 5-minute oral presentations on their exciting research followed by Q&A and people’s choice award. Each session will have a judging panel to select the winner and runner up for best presentation award (awards announced at session 3 event).

Sessions one and two will be held virtually, with the final session three offering a live audience and zoom experience.

About Faculty of Medicine Research Week 2022

The Faculty of Medicine is showcasing the world leading research conducted within our Faculty and will be hosting two zoom and one hybrid sessions to celebrate UQ Research and Innovation Week. Each session will showcase the cutting-edge work being undertaken by our Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) and Mid-Career Researchers (MCRs).

Come along and vote for the People’s Choice award each day, with the panel of judges selecting the winner and runner up for best presentation. The final hybrid session will have presentations from our MCRs, a keynote address and announcement of awards for best presentations, followed by networking over light refreshments to conclude the event at Herston.
