We are excited to invite you to a special event during UQ Research and Innovation Week 2024, showcasing the remarkable work of the Faculty of Medicine’s five-year Fellows and their industry partners.

In 2021, the Faculty of Medicine invested a portion of our COVID Research Stimulus Package (RSP) funds to recruit early and mid-career researchers through five-year fellowships. This event will highlight how these Fellows and their industry partners have collaborated to develop high-quality and impactful research programs.

Our Fellows will present their research programs, followed by a Q&A discussion with their industry partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about innovative research within the Faculty of Medicine and network with leading professionals in the field.

Featured Fellows

  • Dr Jaimon Kelly, CHSR
  • Dr Natasha Reid, CHRC
  • Dr Sebastian Furness, SBMS
  • Dr Kelly Walton, SBMS
  • Associate Professor Aideen McInerney-Leo, Frazer Institute
  • Dr Arutha Kulasinghe, Frazer Institute

This will be a hybrid event (viewing only), although in person attendance is strongly encouraged.

RSVP before 5pm on Monday, 23 September 2024.
