Dementia is the second leading cause of death of all Australians, accounting for 41.6% of deaths in 2017. And with an estimated 436, 366 Australians currently living with Dementia and a further 1.45 million people involved in the care of someone with dementia it is clear that it is quickly becoming one of the biggest public health challenges we face. 

Join us as distinguished neuroscientist Baroness Susan Greenfield discusses her novel approach to neurodegenerative diseases, where her goal is to develop a treatment package whereby a routine blood test could detect presymptomatic degeneration already underway – stabilising any further cell loss.
