Lucinda is a Facilities Officer for the Faculty of Medicine and reports directly to the Infrastructure Manager. This position supports the daily operations and maintenance of the Faculty’s research, teaching and administration facilities and physical assets. The key goal is to deliver operating, safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose facilities. This role includes providing assistance with minor capital works (including building defects and commissioning), relocation activities, coordinating maintenance requests with UQ Properties and Facilities (P&F) and other hospital and health service providers. She also provides support for facilities related procurement, manage preventative maintenance and repairs, annual audit of Faculty assets, records archiving, assist with annual space audits.  To ensure the provision of high level client services, a key component of this role is effective communication and liaison with all Faculty staff and students.

This role primarily provides support to the northern Brisbane precincts within the Faculty including the Herston Campus, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Prince Charles Hospital, Redcliffe, Caboolture, Uniting Care (Wesley and Saint Andrews), and the Sunshine Coast University Hospitals.
