This project aims to characterise the cell-type diversity in the developing cerebral cortex, as well as its response to neural activity. We employ advanced bioinformatic tools to investigate the genetic signatures of single cells during brain formation. Candidates with a background in neuroscience and/or computer science would be ideal to focus on the genetic and/or modelling of cell-type differentiation in the developing brain.
