Help us solve the mystery of the spoon-things

These two objects came to the Museum in a doctors bag jam packed full of instruments initially intended as a donation to the medical effort during the Bosnian War. The bag never made it to Europe but instead found its way many years later to us. In researching and registering its contents, we hit a roadblock with these two spoon-ish, tube-like objects. The Museum team relies heavily on instrument trade catalogues to identify the objects we accession, but these are nowhere to be found. Even Dr Google hasn’t been able to help. If you have any idea of what these objects were used for we’d love to hear from you!
