Purpose

The role of the Engagement & Outreach Committee is to set up the framework and provide opportunities for researchers to meaningfully engage with stakeholders including students, clinicians, consumers, industry partners, the general public, government, and the international scientific and student communities.

Terms of Reference

  1. To actively engage with high school students and UG and PG students within our school to foster a positive and supportive learning environment
  2. To identify opportunities, enable and foster enduring, high-impact partnerships between academics in the school and clinical colleagues
  3. To inform researchers of the processes and opportunities for engaging with Industry for the betterment of their research outcomes
  4. To promote the School’s research capabilities to external stakeholders to initiate new collaborative opportunities
  5. To increase awareness of our biomedical research in the community and to foster the collaboration with consumers and our school alumni
  6. To develop and implement strategies to allow academics in the school to enhance our international portfolio and to develop effective strategies to attract international students to the school
