HSW training
Induction seminar
On your first day you will start your induction process with a Day 1 Induction.
HSW Inductions are conducted by OHS Team on a fortnightly basis. Details are as follows:
Venue: Room 307, Skerman Building, unless additional change of room indicated.
Time: The Inductions will be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 11am-1pm.

Mandatory online training
Mandatory online training via Workday for staff/HDR students and Blackboard for undergraduate students.
- UQ Health, Safety and Wellness Induction (refresh every 5 years)
- UQ Annual Fire Safety (refresh every year)

Local induction
Your Supervisor will provide you with "local" information, ie laboratory risk assessment, Personal Protective Clothing requirements, and emergency equipment. New Worker Induction Checklist will need to be completed by your Supervisor and yourself.
